RE: Planning Permit Application YR 2013/142
RE: 16 LaLa Avenue, Warburton
I live near Green Gables Conference Centre and am writing to OBJECT to issuing a planning permit to Narconon for the application above.
Granting a permit to change the use from a conference centre to a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre will deliver a loss of amenity for me and my community.
Already we have real impacts which can be substantiated. With just this application for change of use from Narconon being made, one of our neighbours (with children) immediately gave notice and is currently vacating his property. We have already lost a neighbour because of this application!
I don’t want my beautiful, peaceful community decimated in this way. I don’t want to lose more neighbours because of the atmosphere of fear and uncertainly operating a drug and alcohol centre amongst our residential homes will bring.
I request that you do not issue a change of use permit for the reasons above. I also request:
- I receive written confirmation of this objection.
- Correspondence about the progress of this permit and meetings I may attend.
